KHPR has worked with Hard Tail Forever since 2007 to help take the brand beyond its yoga roots. The LA-based, made in the U.S.A. brand, often received editorial in Yoga Journal, Natural Health and other yoga-specific titles before working with KHPR. Now Hard Tail receives regular placement in fashion, fitness and lifestyle media including SELF, Shape, Women’s Health, People StyleWatch, Fit Pregnancy, InStyle, Seventeen and Teen Vogue and influential style blogs like Who, What, Wear and NYC Pretty.

A relationship with TEN: The Enthusiast Network (formerly Action Sports Group) kicked off in early 2007 when the brand contracted KHPR to handle PR for their surfing events including the Nike 6.0 Lowers Pro, Oakley Pro Junior series and Surfer Poll and Video Awards. More than seven years later, KHPR’s role has expanded considerably now serving as TEN’s agency of record for all corporate and event PR for their plethora of action sports and outdoor/adventure titles including SURFER, SURFING, SNOWBOARDER, TransWorld SKATEboarding, Canoe & Kayak, Baseball America, etc. While the event editorial coverage continues to elicit strong results with placements in regional and national print, TV and online outlets, KHPR has also begun to build a solid foundation for the TEN brand as a whole with coverage in business, marketing and technology media.

 


Leading athletic footwear and apparel manufacturer ASICS America came to KHPR looking to expand their reach and broaden the appeal of the brand.  KHPR became an extension of the brand’s in-house PR team, often brainstorming, strategizing and bringing unique ideas to the table.  In particular, KHPR was paramount in developing unique “experiential” ideas to show editors first-hand what ASICS is all about and create long-lasting emotional connections.  In 2007, the NYC Editor Marathon Challenge was born to engage editors into training for a long-distance run and ultimately creating a life-changing experience they would never forget.  Epic editorial coverage resulted including features in Outdoor Magazine, Fitness Magazine, SELF, Shape and many more. Six years later, the promotion continues to be one of the brand’s signature events and has expanded into various incarnations.

Top entertainment company Lionsgate retained KHPR to increase editorial coverage specifically for their unique home fitness category.  KHPR started with the DVD launches for the September 2013 titles and considerably increased the coverage they had been receiving for major brands including Dancing With the Stars, Denise Austin, Ballet Beautiful and BeFit especially in major national fitness magazines. The success of the September launches led to a contract extension to handle even more titles for the December 2013 launches including The Biggest Loser, Six Pack Shortcuts, Denise Austin, Ballet Beautiful, BeFit Yoga and Step Up Revolution. A plethora of editorial hits have resulted in a broad range of media including print, online, television and radio.
